Wood is not the only material available for dining tables; far from it. Wrought iron, glass and even plastic are some of the other options that one may do well to consider.

Glass is classy; plus transparent and therefore creates the illusion of more space. It is easy to clean but can be prone to gather dust and scratches. As for plastic, they don’t have to look ‘cheap’ as may be a popular perception. Now even these can be got in great designs and finishes that are almost indistinguishable from wood!
